The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California is offering CM/ECF Attorney Training. Classes are open to all attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, or others who would be involved in performing or supporting the e-filing process. There is no cost to attend. You may register below to reserve your seat in one of the scheduled CM/ECF classes.

Pro se parties must be granted leave to file documents electronically before registering for CM/ECF training.

Click on Register next to the date and time of the class you are interested in attending. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email from ecfhelp.uscourts.gov confirming your choice. You are encouraged to read the Administrative Policies & Procedures Manual and General Order 550 prior to attending the class (refer to the Policies & Procedures link above). All other training materials will be provided to you in class. All training will be held in the Clerk's Office of the U.S. District Court, located at 880 Front Street (federal building), Balboa Training Room #4224 (fourth floor), San Diego, California unless otherwise instructed. To access the Edward J. Schwartz U.S. Federal building, you must have a valid picture I.D. Please allow additional time prior to the start of class to enter the federal building due to security at the front door and camera cell phones are not allowed in the federal building.

Note: This training is for the CM/ECF Application for the U. S. District Court, not for the CM/ECF Application for the U. S. Bankruptcy Court. You are more than welcome to attend this course; however, it focuses primarily on the E-filing procedures for the U. S. District Court.
